MMy name is Martin and I am the inventor and owner of TileTracker, J-Hook and UNIPlug product lines here on the TileTracker website.

I have been working on the TileTracker product for over 8 years now, starting from its original design made from wood blocks when I was a full time tiler. Long before the J-Hook and UNIPlug product lines I worked on the tile railing system when I worked on a council project, which wasn’t going so well and running behind.

We had to work with large travertine tiles which weighed more and put stress on old wood battening systems which bowed, they simply could not handle the weight. With very damp weather on the site, either the tiles were not setting correctly or falling off of the wall.  This was for me and a bunch of other contractors on this large scale development causing a large number of problems and waste.

So I went away and developed the TileTracker and remember the foreman of the site asking if I had any more of them that the contractors could use, unfortunately this was the very first prototype and no others were available.

This is where my journey began…
